All SAN based VPS' Servers

Update: At this time some VPS's are online. The systems administration team is still working on bringing everything online and stable. We want to ensure that after this issue is remedied all VPS's will be stable for some time. We will provide more updates as they come available.

Update: Our System Administration team has identified a fix, and is working toward resolution. During this fix, there is a chance that all VPS' on any of the SAN units may come offline for a short time to resolve a systems issue.

As of 12:30 AM EDT, we identified that a number of VPS' went offline due to SAN3, SAN9, and SAN14 failures. Our System Administration team is actively working on this now and we will update this post as more information becomes available.

On Friday, December 25, 2015, A Small Orange began having issues with regard to a portion of its cloud. While most customers at A Small Orange are entirely unaffected by this issue, a portion of Cloud VPS customers were affected by this hardware issue.

We have had our administrators working around the clock to correct the issues, and bring all VPS's back on-line as quickly as possible. Out of an abundance of caution, VPS's are being brought up manually one by one and thoroughly checked to ensure that there are no data issues with the individual VPS, and to monitor the Cloud performance overall to ensure that the issue has been completely rectified.

We do realize that taking this conservative approach is elongating the service disruption for some, and we sincerely apologize for the length of time it has taken to return all instances to full operation.
